DrawDog Studios grew out of a desire to take the lessons learned in 15 years of corporate marketing production experience and use those lessons to help companies - without an in-house creative staff - "market" like they do. In our experience, most marketing initiatives get started with neither the time nor resources to create a "Picasso". More often than not, the impetus is in response to a change in the market, competitor challenge or perceived opportunity. We all know that in business, time is money. But a wise boss I once had took it one step further and said, "do it fast... but do it right!" He recognized that speed and accuracy were often reciprocal. It does you no good to shoot first if you miss the target.

First and foremost, we at DrawDog Studios are desktop publishing experts in the broadest use of the term. We've been using computers creatively for over 15 years and in that time, have seen some dramatic changes both in capability and speed. But a tool is only as good as the individual using it. Because our expertise was honed and refined in corporate environments, we had to learn how to do as much as we could within the constraints provided. It was never a blank check and a "let us know when it's done". Almost always it was needed "yesterday" and the budget was delivered as "here is how much you can spend".

So we got very good at seeing a project in very concrete terms... a timeframe and a budget. We learned how to balance the requirements of both to produce the best possible "product".
